There is no scenario where it makes strategic sense for Hegseth to have 800 top military commanders worldwide gather at Quantico next week with no agenda. It’s performative bullshit by an incompetent, insecure, belligerent, fake Secretary of Defense. If it was an important emergency, the logistics of getting everyone back to their commands would be considered. Expect firings, yelling and propaganda. Expect Trump to show up and defile the situation. Hegseth is not respected and it’s eating at him. This is tantrum behavior.
