This is dystopian. Anonymity is a horrible way to engender trust between police & communities. I get that law enforcement is a dangerous job. But if you’re not willing to do it while showing your face, then you should find a different line of work. Simple as.

After officers refuse to show badges or even say what agency they are with, a bystander tells an agent "You guys are ruining this country, you know that, right?" The agent responds: "Liberals already ruined it." Utterly unprofessional stuff.
