Stonks 📈
A primeira memecoin implantada em @Solana. Apoiado pelo IP para o meme.
O ticker é $STNK.
Stonks.

I wanted to share some thoughts for creators, artists, and teams who’ve recently launched tokens.
This is something that @wirelyss and I have talked a lot about. Creators reach out to us looking for advice and often we see them over relying on honoraries as their sole marketing strategy. And they get very upset when they don’t get any engagement.
If you are a low cap, you are naturally going to struggle to get interactions from KOLs and influencers. Unless you’ve been in the space for a while and are well connected and have a good reputation. But if you are a small account or new to the space, you have to earn trust here. There are a lot of creators who launch tokens, make promises, and then bundle and nuke the chart and peace out. Happens every week.
So, even if we like the art and content, no one wants to endorse something and have it turn out to be a farm. We’d rather put you on our watchlist and see if you stick around and stay consistent before shouting you out.
Additionally, if you're new to the space and you're only interacting with people because you want a RT and free marketing from them, it comes off as very disingenuous. Like you’re only engaging with people when you want something from them.
With Trencher, almost every honorary I've done was because the person specifically asked for it. Or I reached out to them and said, “hey I’m thinking of making this for you, would you be interested?” If they don’t respond, I don’t make it. There are only a small handful of honoraries that I did without the person knowing ahead of time.
So the advice Wire and I always give creators is…. don’t focus on honoraries right away. I mean, let’s say Gake buys your token, go ahead and make him an honorary! That’s super cool. But mass producing honoraries to try to get RTs from KOLs as your only marketing strategy is not going to work. Most of them are not going to interact and then the post actually comes off as bearish because you didn’t get the interaction you wanted.
Instead, in the beginning, focus on showing your value and why your content or your narrative is interesting on its own. Focus on making content that has the potential to go viral without coming off as super shilly.
And if you really want to make an honorary for someone, I personally would ask them first. That’s what I do.
So yeah, focus on your content first, be consistent, stick around, engage in the space without expecting something in return, and thennnnnnn when you start to grow and more people notice you, that is when I would start to do honoraries. <3
