Today I'm announcing @CounterPartyTV. The next chapter of the Threadguy stream. @macdegods and I are building this together. CounterParty is the evolution from a janky stream with a webcam and a whiteboard background to the next generation of finance media. “Round one” of the Threadguy stream saw genuine traction and PMF. it was obvious there was demand for the product and I realized I loved doing it. Interviewing and platforming the brightest traders, founders and thinkers making money on the internet. Round two is building the stream into a full scale operation. This is my way of going all in on the future of crypto and finance. Initially the @CounterPartyTV account will be used for clips, announcements, writing/research and be the hub for our entire operation. I will also use this post to announce we are hiring. (More info in my next post and on the first CounterParty tweet.) Live five days a week. Three interviews a day. My only goal is to educate my audience and help them get fucking rich. I have a thesis that Crypto/finance creators will be the most important niche in content and grow exponentially from here. The trend of “making money on the internet” is forever in an up only growth phase. Crypto is at all time highs. Pokemon cards are breaking records. CSGO skins look like the M2 chart. And 14 year old kids are making 6 figures a day running roblox servers. Traditional media outlets are late to the trend as they always are. We’ve known this. The reality is the world runs on streaming and short form video. This is why billion dollar crypto funds and platforms are investing in streaming. Crypto creators will grow cult-like audiences because the best ones will help their audience make money. No other creator can do that. I am supremely confident that what you currently know as the Threadguy stream, now CounterParty, will be the biggest financial show in the world. I have nothing to sell you. We aren’t raising capital. There’s no token. The stream is entirely made possible from incredible partners like Phantom wallet. For now, nothing practically changes. I will still be streaming from “Threadguy” on Twitch and X and I will still be platforming the coolest names in new money.
