There’s a lot of value in persistence Especially in a space where founders are incentivized to pivot to new projects every cycle, as it pays better But Zcash has been around for 9 years, building the tech with pretty much the same team of 2009-2011 bitcoiners Could they make more money if they abandoned Zcash after encountering the first issue, to launch a new chain that claims to fix it? Oh, yes! Would they get more love from bitcoiners if they returned as maxis wanting to deploy privacy rollups? Absolutely! But improving Zcash is the most noble pursuit. The market is finally waking up to acknowledge the value of their work over the years. Because Zcash is almost ready for mass adoption and might put an end to the trilemma in a couple of years. In the end, it’s better math that beats any assumption that Bitcoin’s parameters are perfect and impossible to improve. Privacy that scales truly is the holy grail – something that Satoshi himself would have wanted to see and the backbone of a free future for the next generations. And it’s all thanks to the persistence of a dozen Zcash devs.
