When we started building Privacy Pools, we made decisions out of an abundance of caution to ensure that all deposits are safe and legitimate. This led to approvals sometimes taking as long as 7 days.

Over time we've refined this process and this latest ASP upgrade changes our merkle tree settings to update once per hour instead of every 8hr. As a result, we can streamline approvals for many addresses and for 75% of users they'll be approved within an hour.

This ASP upgrade along with lowered minimum deposits of 0.01 ETH (previously 0.1 ETH) means that Privacy Pools is more accessible, more convenient, and much faster for most users. And all of this is possible without sacrificing security, privacy, or compliance.
