Blaming billionaires for everything is the political version of blaming the weather. It is an excuse that removes effort, responsibility and basic economics from the equation.
Rent is not high because a handful of wealthy people exist. It is high because the same politicians who chant about fairness block construction, restrict supply and inflate costs through regulation and zoning. Groceries are not expensive because someone in a mansion wants it so. They are expensive because the policies she supports raise energy costs, restrict production and add mandates at every step of the supply chain.
There are not enough jobs because the same class of politicians make hiring risky and expensive. People feel unsafe because prosecutors refuse to prosecute. Traffic is terrible because infrastructure takes decades to approve. Healthcare is expensive because the system is designed around bureaucracy, not patients. Cars and houses cost more because politicians treat scarcity as a virtue and red tape as a moral achievement.
It is almost impressive to watch an elected official point to every problem created by her own ideology and then pretend the cause is people who have nothing to do with it.
A simple answer does exist. It is just not the one she wants you to notice.
