Re-read US Senate Bill S954 which proposes the US revalue their gold to current price (from $42 to $3400) and issues $1 trillion dollars and buys #Bitcoin. This is budget neutral. Its a long shot to pass but stranger things have happened. A more likely scenario is a banking crisis where banks become illiquid and fleeing investors in stock and real estate will sell into regulated decentralized currencies, not dollars which will become illiquid and be under capital controls.
