Chatcontrol is definitely the wrong way, but it has to be said: the children are not alright. There is a very decent chance that countries who ban social media for u16 will be seen as visionary in only ten years. In any case, even if only some countries try this, the whole world will benefit from the data this experiment produces.

I think most men and some women underestimate how uncomfortable many women feel in male dominated environments, usually as a rational result of their own bad experiences/traumas. It's good that there are woman-only spaces where learning can feel safe. Its also understandable that some women don't need them and even see it as reinforcing "weak gender" stereotypes. And we can all hope that it won't be needed in the future.
