David Koch surviving and walking away from a plane crash at LAX that killed 33 people. Howard Hughes surviving a plane crash in Beverly Hills from a plane he built. Elon Musk and Peter Thiel walking away after their sports car went airborne in a crash on Sand Hill Road. The list goes on. Not sure if risk-takers have higher odds of being in these situations or these situations encouraged higher risk-taking in each person’s career afterwards.
